Christmas Day

Christmas Day we went up to Ryan's mom and dads to open gifts. Great Grandma and Grandpa Robinson were able to join us which is always fun. Chelsea and Jake came home as you can see by the fabulous smile. Emalee loves Chelsea and Jake.
Wow Her first sewing machine. I Sure hope that it came with some free lessons. (for her and me) Thanks Grandma.

Funny little story behind this new hat from Chels and Jake. Chelsea called Emalee and asked her what she wanted for Christmas? Well i am not sure that Chels was prepared for the answer that Emalee gave her. She said,"I WANT A PINK HAT THAT SAYS EMALEE MAY ON IT"!! Later Chels asks me if that is really what she wants? I told her to give it a few days and ask her again. So she did and when Chelsea asked her again Emalee was very disgusted with her and said to chelsea"I TOLD YOU ALREADY I WANT A PINK HAT THAT SAYS EMALEE MAY ON IT"... Way to go Chelsea you made her day. What you can't see is on the back of the hat It says EMALEE MAY. YOUR THE BEST CHELSEA AND JAKE. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts. you can have us every year.HAHAHA

Jaren LOVING his new tractor from Chels and Jake.

Christmas morning

Christmas morning came way to quickly. But the kids did sleep in until 8:30 After we told Kenadee to go back to bed at 6:30. The kids were so excited. This is in the process of the tornado of paper.
My Boys and there Tractors.
Kenadee and her new watch.

Emalee and Jaren opening a gift from Ryan and I. I think that Emalee did most of the unwrapping.
This is the gift that Ryan gave to me. It was the most beautiful picture. It fit perfectly in the stand that i bought severally months ago hoping for something to fill it. It really is fabulous. It is a Greg Olsen "Walk With Me".

Christmas Eve Party

Kelley and Jessica with Santa. Grandma Biorn and Santa having a good old time.
Making the trains that Kenadee did for her achivement day project.

Ryan and Tyler Trying to have a good old time. Jaren and Reagan, Jaren has figured out that he likes to hold Reagan.

Family picture with Santa Clause. Jaren did not like the fact that his dad was not holding him.

Fun in the SNOW

Jaren and Ryan are on the 4-wheeler and Kenadee, Dallin and Emalee are in the sled. They thought it was so much fun. And riding in the Tractor with the snow blower is the best part, i guess!!

You are actually seeing Jaren being really good. How would that be to be able to sleep anywhere? Literally!!
Going for a ride in the bucket of the tractor. Must have been really soothing to him. We didn't even make it to the end of the road before he fell asleep.Funny little stinker!!

HE'S HOME

Just to let everyone know that we have some wonderful news. Nathan Paul Davies came home today. He now weights just over 7 pounds. He is still on a little oxygen. But other than that he is doing great. What a wonderful Christmas present for Melanie and Danny. Thank you for all the prayers and blessings that you have all done for Nathan. He is truly a blessing and a miracle. CONGRATULATIONS Mel and Dan.

A Well needed Hair cut

I finally gave Jaren a hair cut today. I think that my mother in law was kinda hint to me that he needed it done. She was so right. It is kinda sad, but it made him look a little boy and not a baby any more. He did ok in holding still. It is not the greatest hair cut but it is still a cut. He looks very hansom.

Poor Kitty

Well i have a sad story and anyone who is a cat lover will find this rather upsetting so beware. We have a little black kitty that has adopted us. And it is even very friendly which is rather unusual for the cats that come around. Me not being a cat lover kinda got attached to this little kitty. Well Ryan went out this morning to get his pickup to go to town and to take Emalee to preschool. And when he came back into the house to get Ema he told me that he didn't think that the kitty was going to make it through the day! I was a little shock and said WHY? So hold your GASP!!! He found the kitty frozen by the tail hanging upside down on the fence by the cows water trough. At first he thought that it was dead, but then it meowed and he couldn't believe it. He thinks that it must have been trying to get a drink and got it's tail wet and foot. It was so cold last night that it probably froze it to the fence,(which is metal). So I asked him what he did with it and he said that he had to brake it's tail off to get it off the fence. Then he put it in the hay stack. So i asked him to bring it in so i could see how bad it was. It was bad. It's tail looked really funny and its foot had frost bite. At this point i didn't know what to do with it. So i put a old towel in a box and covered it up to get it to warm up. As soon as i did that it just started to purrrrr. Later in the day she finally got out of the box and that is when i could see how bad she really was. I knew for sure that at least all but one of her feet frost bitten and her tail and one of her ears. Ryan at that point told me that she needed to be put down. Ok I know that it is just a cat, but i started to cry and of course that makes Ryan tear up and so he asked me what i wanted to do? So after i regained my composure i told him that i would call the vet and see how much it would cost to fix her one leg. The leg was mangled looking and oozing.Growdy. So the vet told me about $150-$200.00. That was one place so i called another just out of curiosity, I was SHOCKED $450-$500.00. Ryan said NO WAY. So we agreed so that i could have a guilt free concunts he would take it to the vet and if the vet said that she was suffering then at least i could say that we tried. Ryan left the kitty there and the vet called me and told me that all but one little toe was frozen, so basically all of her extremities had severe frost bit. So i guess you know what had to be done. Emalee was asking were the kitty was and of course Dallin being so sensitive says "IT DIED EMA". She looked at me and no it didn't huh mom. So i told her that it went to heaven. She said WHY? So i told her that Heavenly Father needed another good kitty. And that seemed to have been ok because she said to me, next time we will have to have two nice kitties huh mom. She is so sweet. Kinda sad but i guess it is better than to let it suffer.

Never ending Job

We have a little bit of snow now and Dallin thinks that it is great to go out and shovel the snow. I think that it is to get out of having to practice the piano. Of course he has to do it before he can go out.Maybe by the end of the winter he won't be so excited to shovel the snow. We will see.
He asked me the other day if i had posted the pictures on the blog yet. So i guess i should be a good mom and do it for him. He loves to look at the blog. He is really a great worker. He had it all done and then it snowed again. That is the top picture. It is just the deck that he is shoveling but that is ok. It is good to keep it cleaned off.

Activity Day

Kenadee made this train for one of her activity days. I was really impressed with how good it was. I never would have thought to use graham crackers. She is so proud of it.

These were some of my favorite pictures.

We had our family pictures done. They turned out rather great. Our photographer was wonderful and i would highly recommend her for any job that is needing to be done. Just in case you are wondering who did them it was by Jennifer Cook Photography. I am sure no one has ever heard of her.HAHAHAHA. She did a great job. Thank you Jenny.

Kenadee's 10th Birthday

WOW I can't believe how fast the time has gone my baby is now 10 years old. It is amazing how quickly time flys. She is turning into a beautiful young women right before my eyes. For her birthday she wanted to go to the show. So i told her she could invite one person. So she invited her cousin Paige. We went to the show and saw Madagascar 2. Good show. But because her birthday landed on Sunday we did that the day before. And so we got her an ice cream cake of her choice. A Blizzard Oreo Cake. That was also a very good choice. We had a nice quiet day. We watched the Christmas Broadcast and then had cake. That was pretty much the rest of the day. She said that she had a good day. That is always a good thing to hear. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have Kenadee as my daughter. How lucky am i that she picked me of all people. CRAZY!! She is the best kid and very easy going and always wants to please us. We love her and appreciate all the blessings that she brings into our lives. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENADEE

She wasn't so sure that she wanted everyone to know how much she weighed.

Everyone was so excited for her open her presents. As was she.
What a great bunch of kids.

Officially December

For FHE we decorated the Christmas Tree. The kids were so excited. Emalee would jump around saying our house is going to be so pretty. She waited all day for the kids to come home from school. I put out all the other decorations while the kids were at school so that really made Emalee impatient for them. Ryan was actually here to help this year usually he disappears. We always agree that i take care of the inside and he does the outside. I am totally ok with that. What a great time of year. I love Christmas

Thanksgiving

My Family got together on Saturday for thanksgiving. It was also Courtney's birthday. It has been a long time since our family has been all together. We were all there. It was so nice. This is a picture of my dad and Ethan (Courtney's baby)

How Jaren has a good time

So every time we good to my moms house Jaren likes to let her dog out of the kennel so he can go in. We just hope that it is clean!!! He loves to play in there. Maybe this is what i need to get him for Christmas??? It might keep him from getting into every thing.!!!

Random Pictures

Here is our new calf he was born a couple of Sundays ago. The kids were able to see there first calf born. They thought it was gross. He is a cute little calf. Emalee was sure tired. Her and I both had the flu for a day and this is the after affects of that.

Kenadee, Jaren, Emalee, and Dallin playing in the tent that a really good friend gave to Emalee for Christmas. They call her grandma Peggy and Grandpa Tim. They have had so much fun with all the great things that they brought for them.

Here is another one of the gifts that Peggy and Tim brought. They are roller blades for Kenadee and as you can see there is still a kid in all of us. Ryan just had to try them it was so funny. He was trying to teach her how to do it. I don't know who needed the lessons more?
