Christmas Eve

I guess i didn't get a picture of everyone with Santa. But these are a few of the pictures that i was able to get. I thought that Melanie looked so thrilled to be on Santa's lap.

This is Makell Hymas. She is just one of Tylers "Friend". But we all know.
Tyler is Having a great time i think. I can't believe that he is already graduated and leaving to go into the Air Force in February. HMM I think that i might really miss him. I think i will change the subject know.

Sorry Hidee the picture wasn't very good.

Reeyce looks like she is not so sure of Santa.

Hailey also enjoying Santa's company and the gifts that he brought.

Paige, how funny is she, totally cheesing it.

Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas Eve my grandparents and all my siblings excepts for Courtney, were able to be at my mom and dads. I thought that this was a really good picture of them with Santa. There is always good food and more good food.

Here is my Brothers and sisters.

Here is all the Grandkids. We are only missing Ethan (courtneys little guy) And my baby and Courtney's baby. What a rowdy bunch of kids. But geesh what a great looking group of kids.

I guess we all get to have a chance with Santa even me.

Emalee and Santa. When he first came in she climbed up on my lap and looked at me and said that isn't the real Santa, the real Santa doesn't have glasses. HUH mom. I asked her if she was sure about that? She just smiled and shrugged her shoulders.Emalee is my little fireball and says and does what ever she thinks.

Dallin was a little excited i think.

Jaren could careless if he went close to him. He liked to look at him from a distance. He was excited about the Santa!

Kenadee liked the idea of just getting a gift from him i think. She just giggled a lot.

A little bit of December in review

Every now and again as Ryan would put it i like to be Betty Crocker. I thought that it would be fun to teach the kids to dip Carmel's and turtles. I think they just liked licking the chocolate off their fingers. It was a lot of work but i think they had fun.

I guess when you have dogs you never know what they are going to drag in. LITERALLY We thought the dogs had a cat pinned under the wheel barrel. One of the dogs finally got brave and dragged it out. Well as you can see it was not a cat. We had to google it to find out what it was. It is a muskrat. And they are even more ugly in person. And bigger.

I decided that i needed to get some unfinished projects done. Some of these projects are tying some blankets for the kids. I had bought the fabric at walmart about a year ago. The kids were able to pick there own. Guess who got to help???? HAHA
What a good guy. We were able to get two of them done before Christmas so that we could put the frames down for Christmas so that it wasn't so messy. Did i mention that it was by midnight Christmas eve. That was cutting it close.

Emalee's preschool had a little Christmas Program it was so cute. They did little songs and some nursery rhymes. They were really cute. It lasted only about 30 minutes, which was perfect.

And last but not least Dallin had to have a tooth pulled. You can see the cavity on the bottom of the tooth and the roots are sticking up. The Dentist said that they had to pull pretty hard to get this one out cause the roots were so spread out. The picture totally doesn't do it justice, i was shocked when i saw the tooth. I am hoping that this is a lesson learned for Dallin that he needs to do a better job at brushing his teeth.

Kenadee's 11th Birthday

WOW I can't believe that Kenadee is already 11. Where has the time gone. She wanted very simple things for her Birthday this year. She wanted a Bumble watch. Well it is a watch that i made for her. Which i think is just as good. And it turned out pretty darn cute i thought.

She also got this cool little perfume case that i got from Mary Kay. You just rub your wrist on it, instead of spraying the perfume. I thought that might be kind of handy.

Here she is opening her watch. She was very happy with it.

And a Bumpit. I have no idea if they really work but she was wanting one. She is always trying to make her hair puffy in the back and i am not very good at making her long hair puffy. For supper i asked her what she wanted and i was a little surprised when she said that she wanted Tator Tot casserole. HMM i guess i shouldn't complain i just thought that she would have picked something different. For her cake she wanted homemade chocolate cupcakes and ice cream. How much more easier can you get than that. Kenadee has always been a great kid and easy to please. We are very grateful to have her in our home. She is a huge help to me and her siblings. Happy Birthday Kenadee We love you.

Christmas Program

Hmm what do you say about the Elementary Christmas Program. The program was on December 3. It is that time of year again. This was Dallin's last year doing the program. I thought that we would get a break but i guess we will be doing the program for the next several years. Hopefully they come up with something new.

Thanksgiving

I am a little slow, better than never. For Preschool Emalee had to dress up as a Pilgrim or an Indian. She choose a Pilgrim. This was the best i could come up with. We made the hat from construction paper and she wore a apron that i had in the cupboard. So i guess we did pretty good.

They have arrived!

Our Boxer, Shay had her puppies last night. We thought that she would have about 4-5 puppies because she was so small. Well, she just kept going and we ended up with 8 puppies. 6 girls and 2 boys. So for she has been a good mom and taking good care of them. Wish us luck with all those Puppies

Dallin gets his bobcat

Dallin finally was able to get his Bobcat in scouts. He was so excited. Along with his bobcat badge he got another badge for helping pass out the flyer's for scouting for food. He totally loves going to scouts. Getting the Bobcat badge.

October odd and ends

For Preschool Emalee had to make a monster. She decided that she wanted to use ribbon. So here is her ribbon monster. And then i guess it had to come eventually, i had my 31st birthday. The kids made me a chocolate chip zucchini cake. It was wonderful.
Here is this years Sweet Retreat group. We did a lot of fun things this year. We made watches, had some good food, learned how to dip Carmel's and fondant, and had more good food.

And then one morning we woke to this. SNOW!!

Pumpkins FOR SALE

We have officially picked the pumpkins. And Yes they really are for sale. They are at my house now. We have plenty to go around. We are going to sale them for any where from $2.00-$4.00 a pumpkin.

This is only half of them. We still have to get the rest out of the pit up at the farm. There is about 2-3 more pickup loads for us to go get. They should ripen pretty quick now that they have been cut. We have some that are ripe and some that need to ripen. But it is still 3weeks until Halloween. So come and get the pick of the crop while they still last.

Grain Harvest

This year has been kinda a crazy year to cut grain. I think that i was kinda bad luck. First i broke the U-joint on the header, then we had to put a new tire on the combine, then the gear box on the combine burned up, then a bearing went out, then a screw went went loose and moved a shaft to make things not work right. All of this all while i was in the combine. A total of 6 days that we were not able to cut and 3 for rain but luck for me i couldn't control the weather. Bad Year for me and the combine. I think that Larid would have liked to throw his hat down on me. Just for anyone who is interested this Combine is FOR SALE!!!!! These are a few pics that Ryan took when he came up to trade me off. This is a combine we have in our back yard. Jaren i guess felt left out today because i didn't take him. He found other ways to get his fill of cutting grain. Funny kid.
You can see Jaren standing in the front of the steering wheel. Happy to see dad come and rescue us.

This is the after affects of a long harvest. Geesh i was so tired. Ryan thought it was funny cause i have a fly swatter in one hand. FUNNY FUNNY him.

Emalee's first day of Preschool

Yesterday was Emalee first day of Preschool. She was so excited. They preschool that we have her in this year is a new one and is one of my neighbors. I was very impressed with how well organized everything is. She has a binder that has all the information in it for the month of what they are going to learn. There is a news letter that she does and she is having a blog that we as parents can look at and see what is going on. That will be very nice. I can't even express how excited she was when she came home. I think that this year is going to be a great year.

It's a Girl

Well here it is we are having a little girl!! That is the tie breaker for our not so little family. We went girl, boy, girl, boy and now girl. The only concern that i have is that every time we have had a girl Ryan has had some sort of surgery right after the baby was born. First it was his back then when we had Emalee it was his appendix. I am hoping that it will go smoothly for him. Just to let you all in on the story of our little bundle of joy, we didn't tell anyone until i was almost 5 months along. That was mostly due to not feeling well and some problems in the beginning. I had had some bleeding that i thought was not normal so after the second ultrasound because i insisted that there was something wrong they found that i was actually caring twins and was in the process of losing one of them. It sounds weird but i was much relieved that they found the reason for the bleeding. Not so much that i was losing one of them but grateful that i still had at least one. Morning, noon, and night sickness have plagued me for 3 1/2 months i am feeling a lot better and am grateful that Ryan was here to pickup were i couldn't. When we finally told the kids the first thing Emalee said was i have the perfect name for the baby...BAMBEE. I was a little caught of guard by the name and told her that she would probably have to come up with a different name. She agreed after a few days that it was not a cute name. We thankfully got out of that one. We asked the kids if they would like to come with us to the Ultrasound that they all thought that was exciting. Emalee thought that they were going to take the baby out because i told her that she would be able to see the baby. We had to explain that was not the case. She still remembers Nathan and so she also asked if the baby would have to stay in the hospital like he did. I said i hope not. But they said that all looked good and everything is looking great.

This is the little Girl parts!!

Cute little Foot!!

A 3-D Kinda cool. It looks so tiny and scrony the arm is up by the face and you can see the ribs. Not that uncommon for my kids though.
