Dallin's 1st Pine Wood Derby

I truly can't believe that Dallin is old enough to be in Scouts. Where has the time gone. So this is Dallins first Pine Wood Derby. This is the car that him and his dad built. It is a Dune Buggy. He was so excited.

This is the track. Dallin was a little bummed that his car lost. But maybe next year he will do better. I told him that as long as he had fun that is all that mattered. I think that he had a good time.
This is the group of boys that we have in scouts right now with more on the way. There will be a big group by the end of the year. They have some great leaders right now that put a lot of time and work into it. For my first time at the pine wood it was pretty exciting. And just watching them i think was more fun. We had a good time.

My pet Calf

Our new calf Lucky is now an orphan. Her mom died Wednesday from complications to the delivery. So i guess she needed a new mom and i think that she has picked me. I went out this morning to bottle feed her and she came running up to me like a lost puppy. She has figured out how to get out of the corral. So It was kinda funny. Then when i got done feeding her i tried to get her to go back into the corral. That was a no go. She followed me all the way back to the house. Emalee and Jaren were standing on the deck watching so i walked up there and she of course followed. She will let the kids pet her if they don't startle her. Now she just wonders around the yard like one of the dogs. She even comes up to the back door and moos for us to come out. I think we started something????HMMMM How do we stop this one!!!! I finally stopped and gave her a little attention. Plus i think she still wanted the bottle.
Emalee not so sure of her up on the deck. I never thought that i would have a pet Calf.

Poor Ryan

Poor Ryan... On Saturday he started complaining that his back was starting to hurt. By that night he was in a lot of pain. So since then this is how you will find Ryan if you come over to our house. Either laying or kneeling on the floor. Sitting he says is a killer. Some times i have a hard time not laughing at him, when he comes into the room and he is crawling. I really do try but it is kinda funny. He has been to the quack twice and no luck. Yesterday and today i have given him a good rub down and was able to get the spot that has been bothering him to pop. Who needs a quack!!! He has me!!! And ya he was really hurting today after having pull the calf. oops

New Calf LUCKY

This is the new Calf that was born yesterday. There is a little story behind this calf. My grandpa brought her to me on Saturday and said that he doesn't deal with teenage pregnancies. So me being the lucky one, i inherit these cows until they calve out. I thought that by the way she looked we would still have a month. Ryan noticed that she was just laying out there, so i went out to see. And sure enough she was laboring. I had to leave for about an hour to help with Kenadees achievement day. When it was about time for me to come home Ryan called and asked me if i was about done. I said i was just leaving. He told me that he needed my help pulling the calf. I was shocked and a little nervous. I have never seen a calf pulled. So this was all new for me. So a neighbor of ours came over to see a calf born(he is from Arizona, and has never been in the country life before) and ended up helping pull the calf. It started with him and Ryan pulling then Greg (neighbor) and I pulling. I felt so bad for the mom cow she bellard like nothing i had ever heard. She just laid there. Ryan went and borrow a calf puller from another neighbor, and with in seconds the calf was out. For how small the mom was the calf was very good sized. The mom is very sore, and it looks horrible if you ask me. The mom doesn't move to fast today but the mom and calf are good. We name the calf Lucky

Gigantic Dog

So this is my gigantic dog, Meg. I haven't posted any pictures of her lately so i thought that it was time to put a few pictures up so you could see how big she has gotten. She like a miniature horse. But her personality is so mellow and she loves to just lay on the grass and bask in the sun. She may be big but she is the nicest dog and great with the kids. It took a lot to get one of her standing.

State Basketball

This last weekend we went to Boise. Sugar made it to state basketball. They ended up with 3rd place. We stayed with Justin and Amy. They were great to let us all camp out at there house. There was my family of 6, then my mom and dad and Courtney and Ethan, and my grandma and Grandpa Beddes. That is a lot of people in one house.
This is the Team after they won 3rd place. I think they were a little excited.

Tyler is Number 10. I am so proud of Tyler he is a great kid. He played hard when he was able to play. And i just want him to know that we all love him and I am glad that he played so that i could take a trip to get Ryan out of the House. Thanks for the trip.

Dallins 8th Birthday

Dallin had his 8th birthday on March 2. I know it was a week ago. Life has been kinda busy, i guess it is better late than never. I can't believe he is eight. He will be baptized on April 11. Just so you know those who live in places like St. Louise need to plan for a little trip i think about that time. HAHA. For his birthday he wanted a new Cat Tractor but i really didn't want to spend that much money. So i went down to the cat dealership in Idaho Falls and asked to see there book for toys. When i saw this truck i new that it was a toy for Dallin.
Dallin wanted a Blizzard Cake for his birthday. So i took him and let him pick one out. This one is a Snickers. It was really good.

Dallin is so funny, he knew that grandma Robinson would call and ask him what he wanted for his birthday . So when she called he knew what he wanted. A tractor for this company that he got his potato digger from. She also gave him a book that was published by John Deere. It looks really old but i am not sure how old. It is kinda cool.

Dallin and Jaren doing what they do best, being silly. I hope that Dallin had a great day and a happy Birthday.
