A little bit of December in review

Every now and again as Ryan would put it i like to be Betty Crocker. I thought that it would be fun to teach the kids to dip Carmel's and turtles. I think they just liked licking the chocolate off their fingers. It was a lot of work but i think they had fun.

I guess when you have dogs you never know what they are going to drag in. LITERALLY We thought the dogs had a cat pinned under the wheel barrel. One of the dogs finally got brave and dragged it out. Well as you can see it was not a cat. We had to google it to find out what it was. It is a muskrat. And they are even more ugly in person. And bigger.

I decided that i needed to get some unfinished projects done. Some of these projects are tying some blankets for the kids. I had bought the fabric at walmart about a year ago. The kids were able to pick there own. Guess who got to help???? HAHA
What a good guy. We were able to get two of them done before Christmas so that we could put the frames down for Christmas so that it wasn't so messy. Did i mention that it was by midnight Christmas eve. That was cutting it close.

Emalee's preschool had a little Christmas Program it was so cute. They did little songs and some nursery rhymes. They were really cute. It lasted only about 30 minutes, which was perfect.

And last but not least Dallin had to have a tooth pulled. You can see the cavity on the bottom of the tooth and the roots are sticking up. The Dentist said that they had to pull pretty hard to get this one out cause the roots were so spread out. The picture totally doesn't do it justice, i was shocked when i saw the tooth. I am hoping that this is a lesson learned for Dallin that he needs to do a better job at brushing his teeth.

Thanks for showing Dallin's tooth. I've been trying to tell the kids why it's so important to brush their teeth. It really helps for them to see what a cavity can do to their teeth. We'll hope for better brushers too!

Ok both the tooth and the muskratt totally grossed me out! But I love it that Ryan helped you tie a quilt! BTW you ARE such a little Betty Crocker and I'm impressed!
