Jarens 2nd Birthday

I can't believe it my baby is 2 years old. How crazy the time goes. Jaren and Emalee started the day with cleaning off the spoons and beaters, from his Chocolate cake that i was making for him. I think that they really enjoyed it.
This is the finished product. It took me a couple of hours to get it done but that is OK. Every now and again I make the kids a birthday cake. Shocking even for me, It was homemade. I was really surprised how well the cake turned out and it was really good. I made sure that i didn't put to much frosting on the cake. I don't like lots of frosting.

For supper we had Hamburger Enchiladas and a green Salad, which i might say were very good. Jaren, Dallin, and Kelley waiting to get to blow out the candle on the cake. I think Kelley blew it out the first time so we lit it again and Jaren was so excited. I think he would have been really OK if we just kept on lighting the candle. We also had a Dairy Queen cake. It was a cookie dough blizzard cake, Ryan picked it out and there was nothing left.

Jaren is finally getting to open the presents. I was kinda surprised that he did it with everyone watching. sometimes he gets shy and won't do it. Thanks everyone for the wonderful gifts. They were all great.

I think this is Jarens FAVORITE TOY, Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Beddes, And Tyler. It is a little hot wheels and it make all kind of noises. Which thinks is wonderful. It make a motorcycle sound like it is revving up, he pushes that button nonstop. I think by the time it was time for bed he was very ready. I hope that Jaren had a Happy Birthday.

Home made Chocolates

So i had a crazy idea to make some home made chocolates. They have the fondants centers. There are about six different flavors. The Fondant is kinda like Kathy's fudge you pour it out on marble and then have to turn it. So it is a little time consuming. They turned out good. But i have to say that i probably won't do it again. It was a lot of work. This is what i gave to the ladies that i go visiting teaching to. These are definitely a labor of Love.

I love to see the Temple

I thought that it was really neat that Emalee could sing i love to see the Temple. She is always singing it. She is also learning I am a Child of God. When she gets that one down i will record her and post it. She almost has it she skips a few words other than that she has it. It is so cute to hear her sing it. So here it is.

WOW where has the time gone???

Tonight Tyler had a basketball game against Shelley. Very happy to say that we won. It was a fabulous game. Before the game started they had Senior night. That is when they make a big deal out of the people that are in the band, cheerleaders, or the basketball team. Well Tyler is a Senior this year. So I rarely get all emotional, But tonight was one of those rare occasions that i did. My baby brother is graduating this year. It was very hard for me to see him out there. For the Team they had bags for each of the boys and the parents go out with there sons. Well Jaren got away from us, and if you can only imagine how fast his little legs move it didn't take long for him to be out on the floor. He stood there looking at us and then back at Tyler. He choose Tyler. He ran strait out to Tyler and He scooped him up. Jaren gave Tyler a hug then Tyler put him down and he came right back to us. The tears at that point were nonstop. I am very proud of Tyler and I hope that he knows how much i loved going to his games. It is hard to believe that he is already 18. He should be the same age as Jaren. How Time flies. CONGRATULATION TYLER.

Monkey Cake

This is the Monkey cake that Courtney and i Made for Ethan's 1st birthday. We did this Saturday Night. We started it at 10:00 and finished it at 1:30. We thought that it was kinda cute. I have decided that against my power i am getting to old to stay up that late. I am pretty sure that i am still younger that Ryan, by a long ways. By the way thanks Hannah for letting us use your pans.

Family of TEN

This Weekend i had the pleasure of having Kim and Clynt's kids from Friday evening to Monday afternoon. If you are unsure of the amount of kids we each have that is 4 for me and 4 for Kim. I doubled in kids. WOW. It totally made me appreciate anybody with that many kids or more. I guess you do have to consider that most people have 1 kid at a time and they grow into their families. I suddenly had four more kids. Reagan is about 5 months and is a very happy baby. And she Sleeps through the night. She always woke up with a smile. Kim is very blessed. She was an angle for me. Jaren was a lot of help with her some times to much. Hailey was a lot of help with Reagan to, You would think that she was the second mom to her. And Slade and Teagan were good as well they would play with Dallin and i would never even see them unless they were hungry. Friday night we went to the Sugar Basketball Game. Tyler plays Varsity. It was a great game, They won South Fremont. My mom and Dad were there to help. It was kinda funny someone that knew my dad asked him on the way out if all these kids were mine and he told them no half belonged to another daughter. You could see the relief on his face. This is all the kids minus Jaren and Reagan who were napping. This is a great way to babysit.HAHA They don't dare move. Hope they aren't afraid of height.
Saturday i sent the kids outside to play in the new snow that we got. Ryan kept them well entertained as you could see by the tractor. He also pulled them with the 4-wheeler on the sled. They had a great time. They were all pretty tired that night. And no one fought me when it was time to go to bed.

Poor Teagan, He fell off the sled with Dallin and Slade. Teagan landed on the bottom and got a little snow rash. He came in well after it happened and just stood at the door with the most disgusted look on his face and said to me,"Ryan went to fast". I felt bad. I guess this is a good reason for me not to babysit. Your kids will go home wounded and afraid of heights. Then Sunday Rolled around and YES we took all TEN of yes to church. We go at 11:00. I must say that i am very proud of my self we were ready 15 min. before we needed to leave and 15 minutes early to church. YEP we were waiting to go by 10:30. Crazy. They day was a great success. After church i came home and made some Hamburger buns to take to my moms for Ethan birthday party. I think that by the time we made it back home i was very much ready for bed. Wow what a weekend. But as you can read i am still alive and able to tell you about it.
